On December 9, the Vice Minister of agriculture Niu DUN met in Beijingwith the United States State of Wisconsin local government delegationled by Vice-Governor kelifeixi, and exchanged views on strengtheningagricultural cooperation between China and.

 

Niu DUN said that in recent years Sino-US agricultural cooperationcontinue to develop cooperation mechanisms are running smoothly, andfruitful agricultural technology exchange, and stable development oftrade in agricultural products, agricultural investment development has increasingly become one of most important and highlights therelationship between the two countries. Niu DUN will strengthenbilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture proposed a three-point proposal: first, to push bilateral mutual investment inagriculture, and promote the sustained and healthy development of tradein agricultural products. Second, around the Ministry of Agriculture of the two countries signed the Sino-US agricultural cooperation to carry out pragmatic cooperation projects under the strategic plan. Third, thesister-State relationship as a link to strengthen agriculturalcooperation between the two States.

 

Kelifeixi said the United States attaches great importance tocooperation with China in the field of agriculture, hopes to strengthencooperation in promoting the healthy development of Sino-US trade inagricultural products. Kelifeixi agreed with Niu DUN, Vice Minister onproposals to further strengthen Sino-US agricultural cooperation between the two countries, willing to work with the Chinese sidethrough good communication and cooperation, promoting the healthydevelopment of bilateral cooperation in agriculture and trade inagricultural products.
